Shoigu ordered to increase the production of missiles with a range of 300 km – Kommersant

Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu checked the progress of the state defense order at the enterprise of the military-industrial complex MGKB “Raduga” named after A.Ya. Bereznyak in the Moscow region. Mr. Shoigu ordered to increase the range of all guided missiles to 300 km or more.
Sergei Shoigu inspected the production workshops of the enterprise and the technological process of development, production and modernization of guided missiles of various classes, reported press service of the Ministry of Defense. The range of some of the missiles produced under government orders is 250 km.
General Director of the Tactical Missile Arms Corporation Boris Obnosov also spoke about testing missiles with a range of 310 km. He added that the power of the missiles had been doubled. “We must now make sure that there are sufficient quantities of such missiles,” said Sergei Shoigu.
GMKB “Raduga” is part of the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation (KTRV), which develops anti-ship, anti-radar and multi-purpose missiles. They are used to equip aircraft, ship and coastal tactical missile systems.
At the beginning of January, Sergei Shoigu visited enterprises of the corporation and instructed to upgrade conventional ammunition to high-precision ammunition. KTRV reported that since the beginning of the military operation, the production volumes of high-precision weapons have been increased fivefold.
