Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the Primorye Zvezda plant in Bolshoy Kamen, where he checked the implementation of the state defense order and demanded the maximum use of the enterprise’s capacity. About it reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In particular, the minister checked the construction of a floating dock complex, the progress of repairs and modernization of nuclear submarines within the framework of the state order. Shoigu called for “maximum use of the production capacity” of the enterprise to complete repairs of the submarines.
During the working trip, he also heard a report from the director of Zvezda. Shoigu paid special attention to compliance with the schedule for fulfilling the state defense order, the Ministry of Defense noted.
Then the minister inspected the Progress plant in Arsenyev, which produces Ka-52M helicopters. He inspected the workshops and held a meeting with the management of the enterprise, transmits TASS. During the visit, Shoigu pointed out the importance of improving the combat capabilities of the Ka-52M and the protection of their pilots.
On August 30, the Minister of Defense inspected the implementation of the state defense order at the enterprise, part of JSC Concern VKO Almaz-Antey, in the Tula region. Shoigu instructed increase production volumes of radar detection equipment needed in special operations, as well as organize round-the-clock operation of the plant.
