Defense Minister Shoigu congratulated the Yunarmiya on the seventh anniversary of its formation
On May 28, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu congratulated the Yunarmiya on the seventh anniversary of its formation. His congratulations were read out at the final concert at the Avangard educational and methodological center as part of the All-Russian thematic forum “UNARMY – FAMILY” by the Deputy Minister of Defense – Head of the GPPU of the Armed Forces Viktor Goremykin.
The text says that “the organization has become a large and friendly family, bringing together almost 1.5 million talented, energetic, purposeful guys from all over Russia, real patriots.”
In congratulations to Shoigu, it is also said that the members of the Yunarmiya implemented many projects, held hundreds of events, actively support the military personnel participating in the NVO, help veterans and honor the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
As the minister stressed, the Yunarmia makes a significant contribution to the formation of a high patriotic consciousness and civic responsibility among young Russians.
Goremykin wished fruitful activity, bright impressions, health and success to the youth members.
On May 28, Yunarmiya members from all regions of the country gathered at a solemn event dedicated to the seventh anniversary of the founding of the movement.
