Shoigu checked the implementation of state defense orders in the Moscow region – Kommersant

Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu checked fulfillment of state defense orders at the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation (“TRV”) enterprise in the Moscow region. In particular, the minister checked the assembly process of high-precision weapons.

The head of the TRV Corporation, Boris Obnosov, told Sergei Shoigu about the fulfillment of the instructions of the defense department to increase production rates. According to him, over the past six months, the production volume of high-precision weapons has doubled, and for some items by 3.5 and 5 times. It was possible to increase production by increasing the number of personnel and switching to a 24/7 work schedule.

“People come here from Orenburg, from Perm, we work very closely with local educational institutions – with technical schools, with the Corporation’s training center. We have recently taken 40 graduates from there,” said Mr. Obnosov. The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, also took part in the inspection of the enterprise.

“TRV Corporation occupies the first and leading positions; we really hope that the momentum will be maintained not only in 2024, but that it will also be increased in certain areas. Today, our joint work is yielding results, we also have an increase in production volume, not in percentage, but in times, and all this is in great demand in our special military operation zone,” he emphasized.

Tactical Missiles Corporation is Russia’s largest holding company, developer and supplier of anti-ship, anti-radar and multi-purpose missiles designed to equip tactical missile systems. The company is located in the town of Korolev near Moscow. In total, the corporation includes 39 enterprises.
