Shoigu called the number of losses from Ukraine

Ukraine in July lost 20,824 servicemen and 2,227 pieces of military equipment. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a thematic conference call with the leadership of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

Shoigu also said that Russian servicemen liberated Kovalevka and Sergeevka in the Krasnolimansk direction, as well as the Molchanovka railway station in the Kupyansk direction. In addition, a large-scale attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through the Russian defenses in the Orekhovskoye direction was thwarted. As a result, 63 armored vehicles of the Ukrainian military were destroyed.

The minister spoke about the adoption of additional measures to improve the protection of Russia’s civilian infrastructure from attacks from the air and sea, taking into account the current situation.

“Given the current situation, additional measures have been taken to increase protection against attacks from the air and sea,” he stressed.
