How reports On Telegram, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held telephone conversations with his French counterpart Sebastian Lecornu, during which, among other issues, the prospects for Russian-Ukrainian dialogue were discussed.
Shoigu assured Lecornu of Moscow’s readiness for dialogue on Ukraine.
“The initial provisions could be based on the Istanbul Peace Initiative. Holding a meeting in Geneva without Russia’s participation is pointless,” the Russian minister said.
