Russian troops received complexes that have already shot down 24 aircraft in five days. This was announced by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

“We have complexes that shot down twenty-four planes in five days,” said he during communication with military personnel of units of the Vostok group in the special operation zone.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation successfully hit the M777 artillery systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the military told Shoigu. At the same time, they noted that the enemy’s artillery “causes a lot of problems,” and the Russian army is “taking action.”

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine has been ongoing since February 24, 2022. According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities, 511 aircraft, 253 helicopters, more than 8,200 drones, 441 anti-aircraft missile systems, almost 12,900 tanks and other armored combat vehicles and other weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed.
