Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russia has already “virtually created” a joint air defense system with the CSTO member countries.
“We have an agreement,” Shoigu said, “on air defense systems with each of the states.”
According to him, agreements have been concluded with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as with Armenia and “naturally with Belarus.”
“It works, we periodically conduct exercises,” Shoigu added, “we keep it in combat condition.”
