Shmygal: Ukraine has fulfilled most of the conditions for European integration

Ukraine has implemented 77% of the necessary reforms to implement the association agreement with the European Union, said Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal.
“We held the ninth meeting of the Ukraine-EU Association Council. The overall progress in implementing the association agreement is 77%. This is 5% for last year,” he said in his Telegram channel.
He also noted that Kyiv plans to begin actual negotiations on joining the EU in the first half of this year.
Let us recall that at the EU summit on December 14, 2023, it was decided to begin negotiations on the membership of Ukraine and Moldova in the European Union. European leaders also instructed the European Commission to prepare a program for the start of these negotiations.
