Shmygal and Lindner discussed the further restoration of Ukraine

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that he had held talks with German Finance Minister Christian Lindner, discussing with him the prospects for cooperation between Kyiv and German credit organizations to restore the country.
During Lindner’s visit to Kyiv, issues were discussed with the prospect of Ukraine’s cooperation with a German credit institution for restoration. According to Shmyhal, five investment projects worth 247 million euros are expected to be implemented. In addition, three more projects are being prepared for a total of 73 million euros.
The Ukrainian prime minister expressed hope that Berlin would continue to participate in the restoration of the former Soviet republic, including business.
Shmyhal recalled that Kyiv received over 1.5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance from Berlin, most of the funds were allocated as grants.
He expressed hope that German business would participate in the restoration of Ukraine. The Ukrainian prime minister also thanked Germany for military, sanctions, and financial support.
