At the beginning of the first episode, the viewer is shown a performance by stand-up comedian Klim (Grigory Kalinin – “Trigger”, “Major”), who seems to be joking, but in fact directly states the concept of the series. Sex, the hero says, is more or less the same for everyone and therefore in itself is not so interesting. What’s more interesting is what happens immediately before and immediately after sex – that’s where the real suspense is: the ways two people move towards intimacy, and the subsequent reactions to it, are extremely varied and unpredictable.

The directorial debut of actress Daria Moroz (known for the TV series “Kept Women”, “Mediator”, “Living Life”, etc.), as the name implies, is a collection of just such stories about “before” and “after”. The almanac consists of 14 short short stories, plot-independent from each other, united by a common setting – a restaurant run by a stern female administrator played by the director himself.
