Several criminal cases were initiated against former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev (included by the Russian Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents), reports RIA News” citing a law enforcement source.
Cases have been initiated, including under articles of participation in a terrorist organization and public calls for terror, as well as under articles of treason in the form of going over to the enemy’s side.
The FSB of the Russian Federation combined the cases into one proceeding.
