Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev commented on messages from local public pages on social networks, in which city residents complained about the very loud sounds of explosions on Tuesday evening.
“About the “explosions” and “missiles” in Sevastopol,” the official wrote in his Telegram channel. “According to information from the military, these were routine events in the water area.”
According to Razvozhaev, in the Kara-Koba area, electronic warfare equipment landed a drone, “which detonated on the ground, in a field.”
According to Razvozhaev’s message, there was no destruction.
The head of the city also called on Sevastopol residents to trust “only official sources of information.” He noted that “some channels decided that they themselves could give an air raid signal,” and promised that they “will be dealt with,” since “there is an article for inciting panic.”
