In Sevastopol, the air defense system (air defense) worked, informed Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel.
“The air defense system worked out in Sevastopol. All services are operating normally. Our military, as always, worked well. Everyone is requested to remain calm,” the message said.
On October 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree introducing a “medium response” regime in eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of which were subjected to shelling from Ukraine).
In addition, a “yellow” terrorist alert level has been in effect in several regions since mid-April, which has since been repeatedly extended. The last time the high level of terrorist threat in Sevastopol was extended on December 27. It will run until January 11th.
