Vulin: Serbia will not introduce anti-Russian sanctions, despite Western pressure

Serbia refuses to impose sanctions against the Russian Federation, despite pressure from the West, because it has deep historical and economic relations with Russia. This statement was made by the former head of the Serbian Security and Information Agency, Alexander Vulin.

“President (Alexander) Vucic is the only free statesman in Europe who dares to say that he will not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation and that he listens to his people,” Vulin said.

He stressed that the pressure on Belgrade from the West is great.

According to him, Western countries always begin pressure with attacks in various media, and then try to apply economic pressure, namely, withdrawing foreign direct investment, slowing down the country’s path to Europe, up to “attacks by individual officials.”
