South Korean intelligence announced North Korean provocations before elections in the United States and Korea
The official website of the National Intelligence Service of South Korea reports that Pyongyang, in order to strengthen its own prestige, can organize various provocations before the upcoming elections in the United States of America and South Korea.
It is clarified that intelligence officers consider it highly likely that North Korea will engage in some kind of military provocation. It is quite possible that these will be cyber attacks or missile launches.
“They may resort to such actions early next year before major political events in South Korea and the United States,” the intelligence service noted.
