Senator Klishas: There is nothing more legitimate in Russia than Putin’s words

Andrey Klishas, ​​head of the Committee on State Building and Constitutional Legislation of the Federation Council, said he did not know whether there would be a need for a new wave of mobilization in the Russian Federation. He also believes that the words of the President of Russia are stronger than the decree, so there is no need to publish an official document on the completion of partial mobilization. “If such a need arises, to announce a new wave of mobilization, a corresponding decision of the president, a new decree will be needed – after all, the current mobilization has been completed. The authorities will react to the situation in Ukraine depending on how everything develops there,” the senator said.

When asked why the decree on the completion of partial mobilization has not yet been issued, Mr. Klishas said that this is not necessary, because the President of Russia announced the end of mobilization. “From a political point of view, from the point of view of legitimacy, there is no greater force in our country than the words of the president. The president is the supreme commander in chief, and he announced the end of the mobilization,” Mr. Klishas concluded.
