The Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, where the Made in Russia forum is being held this year, looked like a large warehouse or a hangar full of plastic boxes from the inside. The visitors looked around in bewilderment. However, as the organizers explained, deliberate asceticism is not poverty or, God forbid, the desire to save money, but design features. The designers came up with the idea to turn the Manege into a dry port. And plastic containers symbolize that all 134 exhibits of the exhibition are ready for immediate shipment abroad,” Veronika Nikishina, head of the Russian Export Center, explained to Mikhail Mishustin.

Here, for example, are super-sophisticated all-terrain wheelchairs. Few have seen them on the streets of Russian cities, but foreign patients work real miracles with their help. However, further inquiries clarified that the miracle stroller is not exactly a Russian product, but an object of international cooperation, which, for well-known reasons, has to be abandoned. Motors were previously supplied from Germany, and joysticks from the UK.

Similar stories were told to Mikhail Mishustin at other stands. Until February 24, Russia was tightly integrated into the global economy, and the rupture of ties could not be painless: some manufacturers lack microchips, others lack lithium batteries, and still others lack ceramic LEDs.

At the Moscow stand, the prime minister was met by Sergei Sobyanin, who complained that the lack of space did not allow the capital to demonstrate its full industrial potential, “it had to be limited to small models.” But the city’s ambitions are the most serious: according to the mayor, the task has been set to become number one in pharmaceuticals and microelectronics, and also to become the largest center of electric vehicle manufacturing. “We have the largest defense industry enterprises, which are now acquiring tremendous importance and are actively developing,” Sobyanin reminded the prime minister.

In fact, self-propelled stretchers developed by Moscow innovators were to become the main exhibit of the capital’s stand. In the morning, onlookers crowded around them, discussing what a useful thing this was for the NWO: a platform that looked like a mini-armored personnel carrier could bypass obstacles and understand sign language, and if necessary, easily turned into a dressing table. She could speed up the removal of the wounded from the battlefield, but Sobyanin and Mishustin did not manage to find out about this. For unknown reasons, shortly before their arrival at the exhibition, the self-propelled stretcher was removed.

Speaking at the plenary session of the forum, Mikhail Mishustin stressed that the initiators of the sanctions failed to exclude Russia from global trade. Volumes have really fallen. But in monetary terms, even non-commodity exports grew by 7%. “The geography of foreign deliveries is inevitably changing. For example, exports of manufactured goods to the BRICS countries have expanded significantly. Good dynamics in Turkey, Egypt, the UAE,” the prime minister said. According to him, in order to increase deliveries to friendly countries, work is underway to develop the western route of the North-South transport corridor – from the Russian north-west through Iran to the ports of the Persian Gulf. By 2030, the cargo turnover of this direction should increase to 15 million tons.
