Secretary General of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong called Putin in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus

General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong called Russian President Vladimir Putin, reported press service Kremlin. Mr. Chong expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.

During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of bilateral relations in the scientific, technical, trade and economic spheres, as well as humanitarian exchange. It was emphasized that the countries “take similar positions on the main issues on the international agenda.”

According to the latest data, 139 people became victims of the terrorist attack, 182 were injured. 91 victims are being treated in hospitals in Moscow and the region. According to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, people were mostly admitted with gunshot wounds and carbon monoxide poisoning. Eight of the 11 involved in the attack have been arrested.
