Sechin reported to Putin on the provision of housing for employees of the Zvezda shipyard and the Vostok Oil project

Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft PJSC Igor Sechin reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the provision of housing for employees of the Zvezda shipbuilding complex and living conditions for shift workers of the Vostok Oil project in the Far North. The report was made during Putin’s visit to the shipyard in the city of Bolshoi Kamen Primorsky the edges.

Sechin demonstrated a model of seven microdistricts of Bolshoi Kamen, in which residential construction is underway for Zvezda employees. Previously, Rosneft reported that it plans to build 80 houses with approximately 5,800 apartments, the total residential area will be 300 thousand square meters over 8 years. It was noted that housing will be provided renovated and furnished; it is also planned to build kindergartens, a school and a children’s clinic.

“Currently, about three thousand apartments have been issued to employees,” Sechin said.

In addition, Sechin presented Putin with a program for the construction of modern shift housing complexes for Vostok Oil workers and other oil company facilities. He explained that rotational camps are created on the principle of hotel complexes, where there are mobile services for dispatch services, leisure and training, transport and catering management. There are also canteens, laundries, shops and cafeterias, sports and gyms.

Vostok Oil is the flagship production project of Rosneft; it is being implemented in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Zvezda shipyard plays an important role in its implementation, where ships are built to transport oil from the Vostok Oil project along the Northern Sea Route.
