Schroeder spoke about how to end the conflict in Ukraine

Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder said in an interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung that the Ukrainian conflict can be stopped diplomatically at the level of current leaders of governments and states.
At the same time, he noted that so far Paris and Berlin, represented by Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz, have not made any progress in this direction.
Schröder stressed that supplying more and more weapons to Ukraine will not help end the conflict, especially against the backdrop of escalation in the Middle East.
