A representative of the Poltava TCC called on schoolchildren who left to return to the country by the age of 17
Ukrainian schoolchildren who went abroad must return to the country by the age of 17 and receive registration at the military registration and enlistment office. This statement was made by the representative of the Poltava Territorial Acquisition Center (TCC) Roman Istomin.
He emphasized that military registration and enlistment offices do not separately notify young men with summonses that they need to come to the TCC.
“We will not send letters, for example, abroad stating that he must appear. In general, yes, he must return to Ukraine, if he is a citizen, he is subject to registration,” the major said.
In addition, he recommended that schoolchildren who went abroad contact the Ukrainian consulate.
The day before it became known that the Verkhovna Rada extended martial law in the country, which will last until May 13, 2024.
