Any results of referendums in Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions on joining the Russian Federation will not be recognized by Germany. This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Earlier it became known that on September 23-27, 2022, in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Kherson region, in the part of the Zaporozhye region liberated by the Russian army, referenda will be held on the entry of these territories into the Russian Federation. The State Duma of the Russian Federation stated that they were ready to urgently consider this issue after the referendums were held and their results were received.
Shortly after information about the holding of referendums, French President Emmanuel Macron requested an urgent telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
