Saldo told the details of his poisoning by a traitor

Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo commented on the information of the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, about the use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian military and special services. In particular, Saldo told the details of his poisoning, which occurred in August 2022.
“All I managed to do was say that I felt bad and lost consciousness,” wrote Saldo in his Telegram channel. He noted that he woke up only 15 days later in Moscow at the Sklifosovsky clinic.
“Now the Russian Ministry of Defense has found out that ricin was used,” the governor said, noting that this is a dangerous military chemical several times more toxic than potassium cyanide.
“Unfortunately, a person I trusted had a hand in this,” Saldo wrote. He added that the traitor agreed to commit this crime for a lot of money.
“The path of such people is sad,” Saldo emphasized.
He also expressed the opinion that with such actions the Ukrainian special services are trying to intimidate the leadership of the new territories of Russia, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine have no real successes at the front.
“However, nothing will work out for the Zelensky regime – we have control over their illegal methods,” the head of the Kherson region expressed confidence, adding that the Ukrainian authorities will have to answer “for terrorism and violation of the customs of war.”
