Balance: the demilitarized zone deep into Ukraine must be at least 150 km
Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that there should be a demilitarized zone at least 200 kilometers deep into Ukraine from the Russian border.
According to him, hostilities must be stopped, and the heavy weapons of the Ukrainian military must be moved away from the borders of the Russian Federation to a distance inaccessible for their use.
“I believe that the demilitarized zone should be greater than the flight range of long-range MLRS and Tochka-U missiles. The distance should be at least 150-200 kilometers,” Saldo emphasized.
He clarified that the right bank of the Kherson region, including the Aleksandrovsky and Snigirevsky districts, should be liberated from the occupation of the Ukrainian military.
