Saldo reported a fire in the courtyard of a kindergarten in Nova Kakhovka due to the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukrainian troops shelled the civilian infrastructure of Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region. As a result of the shelling, the courtyard of the kindergarten caught fire, informed acting head of the region Vladimir Saldo in his Telegram channel.
“Today at 15:30, militants of the Kiev regime again shelled the civilian infrastructure of Nova Kakhovka and hit a house on Pionerskaya Street, located next to the Golden Fish kindergarten,” he wrote.
Volunteers help firefighters to fight the blaze. According to Saldo, no one was injured as a result of the shelling, only material damage was caused. Saldo called the incident another terrorist attack against the civilian population.
Earlier on the night of August 30, a number of Russian regions have undergone mass attack by Ukrainian drones. In particular, the drones were destroyed in the Moscow, Orel, Kaluga, Bryansk and Ryazan regions, as well as in the Pskov region and in the Crimea. An airport in the Pskov region was attacked by drones. As a result of the attack, no one was injured, but the Il-76 aircraft were damaged.
On October 19, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the introduction of martial law in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions after they became part of Russia. From the same day, a medium level of response was set in a number of border regions. We are talking about the Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions.
