The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at a residential area in Novaya Kakhovka from heavy NATO weapons. This was announced by the acting governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo in his Telegram channel. He called it another heinous crime.
“Today, militants of the Kyiv regime once again committed a heinous war crime against the people of the Kherson region,” Saldo wrote.
He clarified that Ukrainian troops attacked multi-storey buildings in the Sokol microdistrict in new Kakhovka.
Saldo added that all victims will be paid all money legally due. In the houses, he said, work is already underway.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Novaya Kakhovka on Friday. The impact damaged four apartment buildings and a school.
