Sabah: Turkish intelligence services rescued Palestinian hacker who hacked Iron Dome

According to the Sabah newspaper, employees of the Turkish National Intelligence Directorate were able to save the Palestinian hacker Omar A., who managed to hack the Iron Dome system in 2015-2016, from the Mossad (Israel’s Office of Intelligence and Special Tasks – Ed.).
The article states that Omar arrived in Turkey via Egypt. After that, he began to receive job offers. However, Turkish intelligence suspected that the Mossad was trying to lure the hacker out in order to arrest him, and warned him not to leave Turkey.
Last September, Omar went on vacation to Malaysia and was nevertheless kidnapped by Mossad agents. The hacker was taken to a house in the mountains, where he was interrogated for 36 hours. But before leaving, Turkish intelligence managed to install an application on his phone that could transmit a signal about his location even when the device was turned off. As a result, Turkish intelligence services contacted their Malaysian colleagues and as a result of the storming of the house, Omar was released. 11 people were detained in connection with this incident. Now the hacker is in Turkey in a guarded safe place.
