Military correspondents announced the liquidation of the anti-aircraft gunner-record holder of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign “Celt” at the front
The telegram channel “Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring” reported on the destruction of one of the most successful anti-aircraft gunners of the Ukrainian army, Andriy Liniychuk with the call sign “Celt”, in the NVO zone.
Liinichuk was eliminated on Sunday.
He is reported to have been the first to successfully use Starstreak MANPADS in combat. The Ukrainian media also wrote that he had the largest number of downed air targets in all the Armed Forces of Ukraine: more than a dozen drones and even allegedly a Ka-52 helicopter.
The death of Linychuk became known from his colleagues from the 95th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Military correspondents report that it was destroyed by accurate artillery fire.
