Russia’s international reserves rose by $11.3 billion over the week

As of July 14, the volume of Russia’s international reserves amounted to $594.4 billion. Over the week, the indicator increased by $11.3 billion (+1.9%), says in the message of the Bank of Russia.
On July 7, the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves of the Russian Federation amounted to $583.1, on June 30 – $582.4 billion. The peak of the volume of international reserves in 2023 occurred at the beginning of February, when it amounted to $597 billion.
International reserves are highly liquid assets that are at the disposal of the Central Bank and the Russian government. They are made up of foreign currency assets, monetary gold, as well as special drawing rights, a reserve position in the IMF, and other reserve assets.
