Russians are increasingly ordering tarot readers and numerologists for corporate events – Kommersant

The cost of a New Year’s corporate party in Russia has increased by an average of 20%, reported RBC National Association of Event Planners. Avantage Event Project named the most popular Russian stars for the New Year holiday – these are Leonid Agutin, Timati, SHAMAN, Yolka and Polina Gagarina. Increasingly, a tarot reader or numerologist is invited to a New Year’s corporate party, noted the head of the InterMedia agency, Evgeny Safronov.

Almost half of event organizers (46%) reported that the cost of a New Year’s corporate party per guest increased by 10-20% compared to a year earlier. Another 23% of respondents noted an increase in cost above 20%. The rest of the respondents noted that the cost either remained the same or increased in proportion to inflation. There was no reduction in cost compared to last year. NAOM considers the increase in prices for technical equipment to be the key factor influencing the increase in the cost of the holiday.

In turn, there was no significant increase in the stars’ fees. “Some have an increase, but most remain at approximately the same level or increase at the rate of inflation,” the association noted. However, the cost of the artist’s performance has increased due to the rise in price of equipment, as well as due to the difference in currencies.

The use of “esoteric” tools when making business decisions is considered “useful” or “rather useful” by 24% of small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian Federation surveyed by IFORS Research. A third already have such experience, and the percentage of those who are disappointed in it is not so high.
