General Director of MIA Rossiya Segodnya Kiselev sent a request for an interview with Biden
General Director of MIA Rossiya Segodnya and TV presenter Dmitry Kiselev sent a request for an interview with US President John Biden. He spoke about this himself during the “News of the Week” program.
It is clarified that this is being done in order to continue the dialogue between the two countries after Vladimir Putin’s interview with journalist Tucker Carlson.
“We believe that our countries lack the opportunity to listen and hear each other, and we believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin set a worthy example by agreeing to an interview aimed at an American audience,” the published letter says.
It is noted that a corresponding request has been sent to the White House.
If the head of the American state nevertheless agrees to a dialogue with Kiselev, the interview will be translated into foreign languages and published on various Russian platforms.
