Ministry of Defense: The Russian Armed Forces repelled five attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction
Russian troops, while carrying out the tasks of a special military operation, were able to repel five attacks by the Ukrainian army in the Kupyansk direction. This was announced by official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov during a briefing on Friday.
“In the Kupyansk direction, units of the “Western” group of forces repelled five attacks by assault groups [ВСУ]”, said the lieutenant general.
The defense department clarified that the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled in the area of the settlements of Sinkovka in the Kharkov region and Terny in the DPR.
As a result of the fighting in this direction, the losses of Ukrainian troops amounted to up to 185 military personnel, as well as two pickup trucks and an American M119 gun.
