Ministry of Defense: The Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Pobeda in the Donetsk direction
The Russian army liberated another settlement in the Donetsk direction. It became the village of Pobeda. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, during a regular briefing.
“In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the village of Pobeda and improved the situation along the front line,” the general said.
He also added that three brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated in the areas of Novomikhailovka and Krasnogorovka in the DPR. As a result, the losses of Ukrainian troops amounted to more than 410 people. Three armored combat vehicles, five cars, Polish Krab and Bogdana self-propelled guns, as well as a D-20 howitzer and Gvozdika self-propelled guns were also destroyed.
