Russian troops destroyed about 110 Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Yuzhnodonetsk direction

About one hundred and ten Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed by Russian units in the Yuzhnodonetsk direction. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the head of the press center of the Vostok group, Oleg Chekhov.
According to Chekhov, it was possible to inflict such significant losses due to artillery and aviation strikes on temporary deployment points of units of the 72nd mechanized brigade in Ugledar, the 79th air assault brigade in Konstantinovk and the 118th territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Makarovka region. At the same time, the heavy flamethrower system struck enemy strongholds in the area of Novodonetsky, Novomikhailovka and Nikolsky.
Chekhov clarified that in addition to 110 military personnel, three cars were also destroyed.
The Ministry of Defense reported that in a week on this section of the front, the Russian military repelled three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The losses of the Ukrainian army during this time in the Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Yuzhnodonetsk directions amounted to 2,875 people.
