Uralvagonzavod began serially equipping tanks with electronic warfare systems against Ukrainian drones in the northwestern military zone

The Uralvagonzavod newspaper, in an article devoted to the implementation of the state defense order, reports that Russian tanks have begun to be serially equipped with electronic warfare (EW) systems against drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of a special military operation (SVO).

According to the publication, today a new range of production tasks is associated with the implementation of innovations in the technical equipment of combat vehicles. The newspaper indicated that a set of visibility reduction means is being installed, and armored products are equipped with electronic warfare equipment aimed at countering enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The publication also notes that, according to the report, which was presented in a face-to-face report following the results of March, the plan for the state defense order was implemented in full.
