Russian servicemen prevented an enemy attempt to conduct reconnaissance in force

The head of the press center of the Vostok group, Alexander Gordeev, said that Russian servicemen in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction stopped the enemy’s attempt to conduct reconnaissance in force. Among other things, Russian fighters destroyed two reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance in combat of the advanced positions of the Vostok grouping. We stopped this attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and destroyed two enemy reconnaissance groups. More than 10 militants were eliminated,” Gordeev noted.
He clarified that in Ugledar and near the village of Vodyany, located in the DPR, Russian servicemen opened two points of temporary deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy was hit by fire.
