M.Video–Eldorado Group has launched a service for the personal selection and delivery of premium and luxury household appliances. “Izvestia” company representatives. Among the brands offered by M.Video-Eldorado are Miele, Kuppersbusch, Bora, Smeg, KitchenAid, as well as Samsung and LG. The cost of equipment that the retailer already has in stock or is available on order starts from 100 thousand rubles. Delivery usually takes one to two weeks.
“Sales of luxury brands occupy an average of about 3% of the Russian market for home and kitchen devices, while the share of the high-end segment averages 10–20%. The largest volume here is occupied by built-in appliances, washing machines and dishwashers, televisions, small kitchen appliances. We see a pent-up demand of buyers for the premium segment,” noted M.Video-Eldorado.
In May, Inventive Retail Group also began to provide delivery services for premium goods. On the Brandly platform, you can order Milele, Dyson and Bang&Olufsen appliances, as well as clothes, shoes, children’s toys, and perfumes. The delivery of goods, according to the organizers, will take two to four weeks.
After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, many foreign vendors of consumer electronics and household appliances began to limit the supply of their products to Russia. Among them are electronics from Apple, Samsung, Dell and much more. After the departure of foreign companies, the share of Chinese and domestic brands in the market has grown significantly. However, due to the fact that in the middle of 2022 the parallel import mechanism was launched, and the demand decreased, there were surpluses in warehouses for some categories of equipment.
