Another 4.1 thousand have joined the 25 thousand Russian Post branches that issue Ozon orders. Delivery has become free.
“Pochta will also deliver orders to branches. The company will continue to pick up orders from 14 Ozon warehouses in most federal districts of the country,” says a press release from Russian Post (quoted from “RIA News”). The service is provided free of charge “regardless of the order amount.” The availability of delivery branches is indicated in the marketplace application with a corresponding icon.
In addition, 3.5 thousand post offices operate as pick-up points for orders from the online retailer. In them, delivery is carried out by the marketplace itself. It is also free for clients.
To pick up goods from the post office, you need a track number, which is indicated in your Ozon personal account and the Russian Post application. When receiving an order, you do not need to present a passport or other identification document if the user has an electronic signature. In the first half of 2024, companies plan to issue goods from Ozon at post offices using a barcode in the marketplace application.
