Paratroopers, thanks to new sights, destroyed an Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry fighting vehicle from a record 7,800 meters
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the Artyomovsk direction, Kostroma paratroopers destroyed a Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle using the Kornet anti-tank complex from a record distance of 7,800 meters.
“From a record distance to the target, which at the time of launch was 7800 meters, Russian paratroopers destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle of the Ukrainian military. The second enemy infantry fighting vehicle was subsequently hit by airborne artillery crews,” the department noted.
After completing the combat mission, the Russian military promptly changed positions and continued to carry out the combat missions assigned to them.
“Previously, we were supplied with thermal imagers with which, depending on the missiles, we can shoot at a range of up to 10 kilometers,” noted the deputy commander of an anti-tank platoon with the call sign “Zeus.”
