Military correspondent Alexander Kharchenko said that he was very upset by the report on the Dobrynya quadrocopter, which was developed by the Almaz-Antey concern and which is called a “promising Russian development.”

According to him, this drone has terrible build quality (hanging wires and the use of cable ties), as well as weak equipment that will only allow flights over short distances.

Kharchenko called this drone a low-quality fake that any sane FPV pilot would refuse to fly.

Give them a budget and they’ll build top-notch cars to fit their needs. If you do not believe my words, consult the drones in the Donbass. Just ask if they need such “Dobryni”? And I’m afraid that you won’t get a censored answer,” the military commander said.

He also noted that the front is now very much in need of drones, but Russian “innovators”, having received solid budgets, shoot only beautiful videos.

“But just as we entered Syria with Orlans-10, we continue to pray for them in 2023. Maybe it’s time to finally listen to constructive criticism, admit mistakes and move forward? Doesn’t anyone feel that times have changed and you won’t frighten the enemy with beautiful photo reports?” he concluded.
