Serbian Prime Minister: Russian intelligence services warned Belgrade about mass protests
According to Serbian media, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told reporters that the country’s authorities received a warning from Russian intelligence services about impending protests in Belgrade and plans to seize parliament by the pro-Western opposition.
“Russian special services shared information about the impending assault on the Serbian parliament,” Brnabic said.
Earlier, the country’s President Aleksandar Vucic confirmed receiving information from foreign intelligence services about the possibility of implementing a “color revolution” scenario in the country. Later, the Serbian leader announced an upcoming meeting with the Russian ambassador on December 25.
