The number of countries that are clearly aware of the illegitimacy of the so-called Western sanctions and their harmfulness is increasing in the world. Such a statement was made on Friday, August 11, by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin.

According to the diplomat, this is true “not least for the states that introduced them, and the business circles of these countries, as well as for those states that participate in this illegitimate undertaking by the West.”

Against this background, Russia continues to progressively develop trade and economic cooperation with the CIS member countries, including Tajikistan, and intends to continue this process.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that a hybrid war is being waged against the Russian Federation, but our country is confidently resisting and will resist external pressure, sanctions and provocations, as well as continue sustainable development.

Galuzin stated that Moscow and Minsk should inflict joint diplomatic strike on Western sanctionsand one of the directions of such a strike should be “exposing the illegitimate nature of unilateral economic sanctions that the collective West is trying to apply.”
