The “One Belt, One Road” forum in China is also scheduled to be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Russian leader was invited by Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to Russia in March. Putin later announced that he accepted the invitation. In September, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov clarifiedthat the timing of Putin’s visit to China has been agreed upon, but did not disclose details.
