Statements by Washington administration officials about supporting the creation of a special tribunal against the Russian Federation are a sham, the Russian embassy in Washington said in a statement.
Russian diplomats assured that this had nothing to do with justice.
The Russian side believes that Washington is demonstrating a complete disregard for the norms of international law for the sake of its own geopolitical interests.
“Frantic and unfounded accusations of alleged aggression, crimes against humanity and other violations are nothing more than an element of the Russophobic campaign organized by Washington as part of the unleashed hybrid war,” the Russian diplomats concluded.
