Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said the sanctions had not disrupted the stability of Russia’s financial system. According to the results of nine months of 2022, budget revenues amounted to 20 trillion rubles. This is 10% more than the same period last year. Spending in 2022 increased by 5.5% to RUB 19.5 trillion.
“Budget revenues for January-September are higher than expected. They grew by 10% compared to the same period last year and approached 20 trillion rubles. Expenses also increased by 5.5%, to about 19.5 trillion rubles, including due to an increase in payments as part of the state’s social obligations to citizens. At the same time, the provision of material assistance, services and various benefits has become even more targeted,” Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting (quoted from site governments).
