In the Bakhmut (Artemovsk) area, Russian aviation used FAB-500 bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module. This was reported in the Telegram channels of Russian military correspondents.
So, “Military Chronicle” writes that, presumably, one arrival was recorded near the fortified area of the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade between Khromov and the motocross track, the second – in the area of the intersection near the Eighth Pond in the west of the city, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to transfer ammunition to Bakhmut .
“Judging by the fact that aviation has begun to work actively in the region, the case with the liberation of Artemovsk from the Armed Forces of Ukraine is moving towards its logical finale. The use of high-precision bombs will speed up the liberation of the city and minimize the need for assault actions by ground forces,” the report says.
Earlier, British intelligence MI-6 transmitted intelligence to the Office of the President of Ukraine and the General Staff that the Russian army was preparing to strike with one and a half ton bombs at the fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the west of Bakhmut. British intelligence recommended taking this into account when defending the city and dispersing units so that they would not be destroyed during air attacks.
