Russian Ambassador Nozdryov: Japanese Patriots in Ukraine will lead to dire consequences
Russian Ambassador to Japan Nikolai Nozdrev said that if Japanese Patriots, produced under license from the United States of America and exported there, end up on the territory of Ukraine, this will lead to dire consequences for bilateral relations between Russia and Japan.
He clarified that the Russian Federation in this case can take retaliatory steps. These actions are currently being worked out.
“As for the situation with the supply of Patriot, it is obvious that the Japanese authorities made all these decisions very quickly to carry out a specific task. In fact, this decision allows the United States, in a sense, to take control of the weapons that the Japanese side currently has and dispose of them at its own discretion,” noted Nikolai Nozdrev, appointed to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Japan.
According to him, Russian representatives will closely monitor the development of the situation, in particular, to ensure that the delivered Patriots do not end up on the territory of Ukraine, since if this happens, there will be dire consequences for bilateral relations.
