The West is planning to supply Estonia with weapons capable of keeping the whole of St. Petersburg at gunpoint. This was stated by Russian Ambassador to Tallinn Vladimir Lipaev on the air of the Soloviev Live TV channel.

“Estonia is actively arming, it is not clear why. It is planned to supply the most modern types of conventional weapons here, which are capable of keeping St. Petersburg at gunpoint, and a medium-range anti-missile defense system is being created. Lipaev stressed that the Anglo-Saxons were interested in creating an anti-Russian outpost in Estonia, thanks to which Russia would be put under pressure not only economically, politically and culturally, but also militarily.

The day before, January 23, the Russian Foreign Ministry accepted the decision to downgrade the diplomatic representative in Estonia to charge d’affaires ad interim. Estonian Ambassador Margus Laidre needs to leave Russia by 7 February. The Foreign Ministry explained that this decision was due to the deliberate destruction of Tallinn’s relations with Moscow, total Russophobia and the cultivation of hostility towards Russia, which the Estonian authorities elevated “to the rank of state policy.” In January, Tallinn radically reduced the composition of the Russian embassy, ​​thereby confirming the “line towards the collapse of relations,” they added.
