Russian air defense systems again shot down a Ukrainian UAV in the Belgorod region

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced another attempt by the Ukrainian side to strike with a strike drone on objects in Russia, namely, in the Belgorod region. This was reported in the defense department.
“August 13, at about 13.30 Moscow time, another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” the ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry of Defense added that the Ukrainian UAV was detected and destroyed by Russian air defense systems. As a result of the work of air defense, there were no casualties and no damage.
It is worth noting that this is the third attempt by Kyiv to attack objects in Russia in a day. Initially, at 11:00 Moscow time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made an attempt to attack objects in Belgorod regionand at 11:30 Moscow time — Kursk region. All drones were shot down by Russian air defense.
